NAEEM KHAN HERO OF HIS HOUSE

My name is Naeem Khan and I belong from KPK. I sell coffee and ice cream. I started this work in 2001 and I’ve been doing this work for 18 years now and back then my age was 20 years old since I came to Islamabad for work. I didn’t know anything about work but my family was very supportive so then I started selling coffee and ice cream. I remember in 2001, my monthly income was about 3000 to 3500 rupees and it was enough for my monthly expenses back then but after some time everything seemed difficult with different circumstances. My parents got me married. After some months passed, I brought my family to Islamabad but then it was hard for me to earn enough money for my family as well but after some months I sent my family back to my village. Everything went well again and I had a baby, all thanks to God Almighty. I thought of my kids welfare and I brought my family back in Islamabad in 2017. And I did all the hard work for my kids’ good education because I couldn’t get one. I want to give them a bright future but since the government has increased all the prices, everything’s been going so tough, my monthly income is 34k to 40k and I spend every penny to handle everything in my life. Sometimes I’m amazed to see how Allah never let me run out of anything, I believe in Him, He handles our situations so well. I want to see my children to become something in life, it’s my dream. I give everything to them even if I have nothing left for me. May Allah give them a bright and successful future.

After few years they have totally tight command on their skills they leave that shop and start working in another shop where they get little more money against their services. After five years of working now the have enough money to start their own business so they take a step and start their own business. So they face many problems in the begging but now they are running their own business with earning of good profit. They are running their own beauty salon with the name of LORDS BEAUTY HAIR SALON in f-8 markaz Islamabad. Now they are thinking about to open a new branch in f-11.

THE STORY OF SAEED AHMED

My name is Saeed Ahmed. I belong to a very little town of Azad Kashmir.  I'm 21 years old.i started working when I was 14 my family were facing alot of problems because of being financially poor and it was very tough for my family to run our house properly. In 2012  I decided that I would go Islamabad and support my family when I came Islamabad i couldn't understand that what will I do but a kind person who also belongs to azad kashmir gave me work at his own stall and I started working at his stall initially it was very tough for me to stand for whole day from 6am to 9pm often i felt pain in my legs but by the time I was habituated to it. Then I supported my family and my owner were very supportive and kind to me always.i was very happy that i was taking care of all  responsibilities of family.everything were perfect as i expected. After few years when i was bussy at work suddenly i received a call from home when I picked call i heard that someone is crying which made me feel anxious i asked what happend they said your mother had panic attack and she got paralyzed. Quickly i packed everything and I went  home. That was the saddest day of my whole life.Because my mother was fighting with her. My mother who  sacrificed her whole life for their kids and taking care of us in everyway then I admitted her in hospital for few days in so she could feel better. After 5 or 7 days we had seen alot of improvement but she got paralyzed that time was very tough time for me and my family but by the time more improvement had been  seen and I came back to Islamabad working at same place.Today we thanks Allah Almighty and we are very happy. Now I have only one dream to make family happy and give everything whatever they want. I pray Allah pak makes everyone happy in their lives.

A day in the life of a 'Chanay wala'

 

Meet Habib Khan, The Chanay Wala. 

His typical day begins early as he wakes up to offer namaz-e-fajr. He prays for an easy and successful day, only a few days are easy and successful. He has breakfast with his family a wife, a young son and a daughter. He sets off to sell chanay, he had prepared his supplies the previous day. Each day he pushes his cart about 10 km, but it no longer tires him he is used to this routine. Usually his cart is placed in front of colleges to get customers faster. All day he will switch the location of his cart 2 or 3 times. He never forgets to take some time out to pray. He spends sometime with his friends in the market, where he buys supplies for his next day. He returns home when it gets dark, tired from the days work. He has a dinner with his family and enjoys the stories of his son and daughter from school. As he prepares to sleep he prays for an easy day ahead.

Earnings from his work are low and each day is a challenge to make ends meet, but Habib Khan never forgets to smile.
